When I was younger and somewhat more foolhardy I scrambled around the barriers and walked over this and the next bridge. I thought I'd be OK by walking along where the decking sat on the main bearers but after a while realised this was probably the most rotten part of the timbers. I got half-way over the 2nd bridge now being quite terrified but realised continuing on was probably better than retracing my steps. To return I scrabbled up to the road and copped some abuse from 'friendly' locals as I walked back towards Koonwarra. Thanks for the great website. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
