Victoria Street Bridges

The Victoria Street Bridges. Ron Woods writes: T367 passes under Victoria Street on what then remained of the Buninyong line, after shunting the sidings at Eureka.  While the three bridges (two footpaths and the main carriageway) in Victoria Street still exist, the railway is now a walking track known as The Bunny Trail.

The ROW is so named because the Buninyong passenger train was known as The Bunny.  The name was imposed by the City of Ballarat, who intended to extend the trail to Buninyong, however significant parts of the former railway are occupied by residential and commercial development.
